Happy Birthday Rich

We celebrated Rich's birthday last night. CP and Pop Pop babysat both kids so we were able to grab a quick bite to eat. It was heavenly to get out by ourselves. Schuyler was thrilled to get cake two days in a row. (The 9th was Gee's 80th - which we celebrated with a big surprise party.) We also got out to the Daily Paper with M, T, and Avery, which wad fun. Venturing back out in public for me has been very liberating! It's been a lot of at-home time since being sprung from the hospital...

Baby Griffin is doing well, all the typical baby stuff - lots of sleeping and eating - and more 'alert' moments now that he's almost 3 weeks old. Yesterday he tried his bathtub out for the first time.


And Schuyler is continuing to adjust really well. She loves her "little guy" or "little Griff", as she calls him. Her favorite thing to do is hold him with the boppy pillow.

She also likes him to be part of her nightly storytime.

And let's not forget about Pepper. She's also adjusting well. Shows none of the stress/animosity/jealousy she had when Schuyler was first born. She mostly lusts after Griffin's diapers (yuck) and follows us around the house, doesn't like to be away from us, she's doing her best guard dog routine...
