Object of affection?

Sleep has been HORRIBLE here lately - more colds and teething issues than I'd like to think about. Multiple trips down to check on the kids each night. Since Avery is loving her bear, I thought I'd try putting Griffin in the crib with a stuffed animal the other day for naptime. When I checked on him here's what I found:

Taking the boat out

Rich took the boat out over the weekend, and it's back in the yard. The barnacles took over the bottom, so as Rich scrubbed, we kept him company, started raking the yard, etc. The exersaucer fit perfectly in the boat (still nameless!) and Griffin had a good time watching over us. Rich and I have been talking about how quickly the kids seem to be growing up and getting BIG. I agree.. It is kind of crazy...

Halloween Party

We kicked off Halloween season with a huge kids Halloween party hosted by Brenna and Dierdre Mullin. TONS of kids. Schuyler and Griffin had a chance to show off their costumes. Like SO many other girls (including Dierdre), Schuyler decided to dress as Dorothy this year. Griffin is a Vampire (or 'VanPiper' as Schuyler likes to say).
