Welcome Baby Solomon

Summer visit from Kacie

Schuyler's cousin Kacie is visiting and the girls are having a blast together. She celebrates her 5th birthday while she is here and we'll be gathering together for a party on Sunday night. We had some beach time at the lake with Regan, Kacie, and Chris last Sunday.

Sandy Neck with the Webbs

Our first offroad adventure on Sandy Neck since January, right before Griffin was born, took place earlier this month. The Webbs joined us, we cooked out, and had a bonfire, complete with S'mores.

End of School Picnic

We recently attended the end-of-school year picnic at Burgess Park in the Mills. We brought quite an entourage; CP, Pop Pop, GJ, and Grandpa came along. There was a little ceremony, and Schuyler was recognized for, among other things, her independence and articulation/vocabulary. It was a lot of fun, potluck dinner, tons of playtime, and even some frisbee golf on the sidelines!

Fireworks

We spent our fourth of july weekend on Avanti with the McMahons and Stewards, in our annual holiday tradition. Despite some rain and fog which almost fully obscured the fireworks, it was still a great time.

Griffin hit a couple of important milestones over the past week or so:

1) First tooth! Bottom one just came through. I am nearly certain more are coming and will arrive within the week.

2) Flipping from front to back AND back to front. Crawling comes next...I'm so not ready!!!

3) Rice cereal for the first time. He loved it. Let's hope it means he'll start sleeping through the night....

Have not been online much for past week or so due to a much needed vacation! We stayed on Cape and didn't have any major plans, but enjoyed having the time off so much. Rich took the week off, too. I'll post pics from the week soon...

Barnstable Fourth of July Parade
