Almost 4 months!

Hard to believe the little guy has been with us for nearly 4 months. He's very busy and very bright for his age. Already rolling over (since three months!) and his teeth are coming! We can see the bottoms starting to come up, though I predict it will be awhile until they truly break through.

Schuyler and Griffin continue to be great buddies. Our morning ritual consists of Griffin going into Schuyler's crib (yes, she's still in the crib!) and they play for awhile. That's what they are doing in fact as I type this...Schuyler's the doctor and Griffin is the "sick patient" :) They are too funny.

Gram

Schuyler's Great-Great grandmother Maida Backus passed away at the age of 104 earlier this month. We mourn her but remember her with love and gladness.

Mother's Day

We spent the whole weekend celebrating Mother's Day. Friday night we had dinner at Bay Lane with GJ and Grandpa. Sunday was brunch at CP & Pop Pop's house. Rich made a delicious cheese and veggie egg bake, and the mimosas and bloody marys were flowing...

Sam's off in NC visiting Emily, so she wasn't with us, but we did talk to her on the phone. We also received a call from Matt in Iraq!!! A horrible phone connection but it was great to hear his voice and know he's safe.

Mary and Griffin have a special relationship - he LOVES her. He's been so fussy due to teething (!) but he was happy as can be in her arms.
