I recently rediscovered this crazy old navy outfit I bought for Schuyler last year. She used to refuse to wear the vest; however this morning she thought it was "incredible" and she also liked the "funky pants" (her words)! Check out the ponytail she's rocking as well...

Tree Trimming

Schuyler helped CP and Pop pop trim their tree last night. Hard to believe the Christmas season is already here. I let her stay up late last night to watch the Peanuts Christmas special as well. Let's see if I cave in and let her watch the Shrek Christmas special tonight too!

Latest baby boy pictures

Got another look at the baby boy today. He's looking good, current estimates put him at 4 pounds, 7 ounces at 32 weeks....head down and kicking away happily!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving, enjoyed the lovely mild weather, finished our pilgrim placecards, raked the yard, and stuffed our faces at CP's house.

GJ and Schuyler did a woods walk and made this beautiful woodsy centerpiece, complete with mushroom, rocks, and moss. It was a big weekend for being crafty.

Painting

Schuyler loves to fingerpaint. I love the IDEA of painting, but in practice, it is VERY messy and a little crazy to deal with. Watch for a post on our current craft project, pilgrim hat place card holders, very soon!

Letter of the Week

Schuyler's preschool highlights a 'letter of the week' each week. This week's letter is "N". The kids are given 'homework' to bring in one item beginning with the letter. We found a nest that blew out of a tree during the recent storm, so off to school it went...

She also brought in some photographs of Uncle Nick....though this morning she had no interest in posing to show off her selections...

Happiness is....

It is sooo nice to finally have a working sink in the downstairs bathroom. Schuyler is LOVING it. Brushing her teeth is becoming a favorite activity now that she has her own sink and doesn't have to go upstairs to our bathroom to take care of her teeth. The bathroom is coming out great. Rich has done a fantastic job.

Power Outage

We weathered the storm and braved a nearly 2 day power outage over the weekend. Schuyler enjoyed taking baths in the dark, "camping" with the candle lanterns, and wearing Rich's headlamp in a tutu....

Halloween 07

Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. We did the Osterville parade and had a wonderful time, the weather cooperated, and Schuyler enjoyed being the pirate yet again! She also wore the kitty costume earlier in the day, for Music Together with GJ, and even got to visit Heritage Museums and Gardens for a ride on the carousel and a final look at the pirate exhibit.
