Schuyler at Willy's

I took Schuyler to CP's gym, where they just installed a huge playworld for kids. It was very cool. Schuyler is a little young for it, so I trailed her to help push her up on the ledges (and to be sure none of the big kids got in her way!) Definitely worth checking out.

Poor Pepper

Schuyler got her hands on some address labels that came in the mail. This is what she did with them...

POOR PEPPER! She's such a good sport...

The Trike

With springtime here (Sunday's crazy noreaster not withstanding), Schuyler is starting to LOVE her Kettler trike. Here she is on a recent outing. Our street is just the right length for toddler tricycling. She doesn't have the pedals mastered yet, so the pushing mechanism is perfect.

Cutest Girls Ever

We had Sunday breakfast at The Daily Paper with Michael and Tara. To our surprise and delight, Sophia made a guest appearance. Schuyler and Sophia took the place by storm -- they are absolutely so cute together. A couple of different people asked me if they are twins. The little blondies do look alike, and they are practically the same age. Such fun to see them together.

As usual, breakfast was wonderful. (I think we sampled a little bit of everything.) Sam and Aaron have done such a fantastic job with their restaurant. We really look forward to our visits, and I know Schuyler does, too. Judging from the crowds they attract, we aren't the only people on the Cape who love The Daily Paper...

And can I just say, for the record, how excited we are for M&T's Baby Brooke to arrive on the scene in December??!!!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was a blur of activity -- AM Easter egg hunt at GJ and Grandpa's (complete with stuffed animals throughout the yard, and hollowed out plastic eggs and carrots filled with treats) -- stop in at Aunt JuJu and Howard's place, then off to CP and Pop-pop's house for the main Easter meal.

The Easter bunny brought Schuyler her very own fish! Schuyler named her Dorothy, after Elmo's pet goldfish. She LOVES her 'beautiful fish'. And the tank is shatterproof, has heart shaped magnifying glasses on each side, a battery operated light, and a carrying handle for trips to show and tell or the grandparents' houses. The perfect first pet for a toddler...

Green Briar Nature Center

While Rich worked on the bathroom project, I took Schuyler out to the Green Briar Nature Center in East Sandwich for animal storytime. We got to play with some rabbits and a hedgehog right on the classroom floor. It was pretty cool. We'll definitely be back.

Baby Zoe

We visited with Baby Zoe earlier in the week; got together for pizza dinner. Annie and Zoe were on the Cape while work is done to their place in Maine, which gave us a good excuse to get together. Schuyler and Zoe really enjoy each other. It is fun to see them play. Can't wait for more play dates over the summer.

Trip to the City

Rich had to work on Saturday so we tagged along for the trip to Boston. First we stopped by the office. Schuyler decided to log some time on the computer and make some phone calls.

Then we went to Cambridge to see Steve and Ellen. We lunched at 'the baby restaurant' in Huron Village, where they live. Pretty cool place for toddlers -- they have sippy cups, a big play area adjacent to the dining room, and many children's meals (including melon, the current favorite). A walk around the reservoir capped off the afternoon. Saw so many cute dogs...which was a treat especially for Schuyler -- I don't think she's ever seen so many at once.
