Schuyler decided to model some gloves and a hat the other day, she's all ready for wintertime activities....

Pooh goes potty

So, the potty training has gone nowhere, we really haven't been pushing the issue, but we always keep the potty out where S can get to it if she ever gets the inclination to use it. The other day I found her in the bathroom playing with her Pooh bear....
Here she is, with Pooh on the potty, reading him a story while he tries to go. She was so engrossed in play that she wouldn't even look up for the picture! Pretty cute...

Cute Schuyler

Schuyler is starting to show a big interest in wearing skirts and tights all of a sudden. (I think because she can put skirts on pretty easily.) Here she is looking might cute.

Swimming in the bathtub

Schuyler has recently taken an interest in 'swimming' in the bathtub. This is a little blurry, but gives you an idea. She is getting close to putting her face in, which is sort of scary (but marks the fact she's getting so big/capable). I think we may be due for more swimming lessons.


She also likes to wash the duck's 'hair'.

Barnstable Firehouse Visit

I'm back after having lost my camera's power cord all week....It's still missing, and I'm pretty sure Schuyler knows where it is!! It will probably turn up in her toybox or some random location of her choosing. For now, I'm on my old camera...

Playgroup went on a field trip to the Barnstable Firehouse. Schuyler was pretty scared of the whole thing, until the fire hats, decal badges, and snacktime happened...then she was ready to bring on the good times!
All the kids got to be 'fire chief' for the day...

Barney

What is it with Barney the Dinosaur? Schuyler is OBSESSED. So is Sophia. My brother and sister were also big on Barney when they were kids (enough so that they named our family dog Barney). Gee gave Schuyler this Barney stuffed animal; he was lost in the bottom of the toybox until just recently. Now he's going everywhere with us....

Visit with Annie and Zoe

Schuyler and I headed to New Seabury yesterday to visit my dear longtime friend Annie and her baby girl Zoe. It was wonderful to see them (they live in Maine and were here visiting the in-laws for some Halloween fun). I have a feeling the girls are going to take after their mothers and develop a close friendship...already I am excited for next summer and some beach playdates!

Schuyler had a very happy halloween in all her kitty glory.

Maeve (Octopus), Sophia (Frog), Schuyler (Cat) had a great time at the Osterville Halloween parade and party at Osterville Bay School.

Maeve goes for the doritoes and Schuyler is all over the juice box.


Just like last year, we closed out the party, the girls were having too much fun to leave!
